Michael Wolff wrote a hit-piece, tabloid bio on Trump and so of course he’d want to try to drum up some scandalous claims. Trump was president in 2017 when these tapes were allegedly recorded of Epstein. Of course, it would be in his interest to play up as much as possible his relationship with the *President of the United States* and try to give the Trump hating author as much salacious stuff he could come up with (if the tape is even legit in the first place).
