Bongino doesn’t need any of this stuff. He had a good career and a strong following before he went back to government. If he resigned over this, his stock would rise.
Disagreement with a policy is an acceptable reason for resignation.

For sure. And the sooner the better. And make clear statements about his reason(s). He hasn’t been there very long so maybe he can resurrect his career, and reconcile with his wife.
