The illegal aliens are not "interned", which is long term imprisonment.

They are being held just long enough to arrange deportation.

So his argument is that Trump is acting just like a Democrat?

“Japanese and Chinese immigrants could not become citizens at that time. I think the law changed in 1951. But children of Japanese immigrants were citizens if born in the US.”

The law was changed in 1952. My maternal grandfather applied for citizenship that year. He had to wait until 1959 to satisfy the residency requirements even though he lived legally in the United States for prior 45 years.

What an odd comparison, the internment of Japanese Americans was a dark day because they were almost all US citizens or legal residents, who were deprived of their rights because of outrage over an act of war. ILLEGAL ALIENS are being housed in secure facilities until they are deported to their country of origin or another if not even thir country of origin wants them back. See the difference George you talentless hack who would be a pauper without your supporting role on Star Trek? Dark page in American History rounding up Americans of Japanese descent and interring them for the balance of the war, and by the way destroying their businesses and lives. Not a dark page in American history, rounding up illegal invaders who have no intention of respecting or following American laws while sucking at the taxpayers teat, sending home to the country of their allegiance billions of American tax dollars while a goodly percentage of them commit heinous crimes against Americans. it’s so simple that even a queer with tons of fudge packed into his brain should be able to understand it.
