My understanding of the situation is that there are more regulations on organic products because of the possibility of fraud and substitution of the organic product with "tainted" product. Truth in advertising, for example.

What is the intent of all those chemicals, you ask? To increase the usable yield per acre. The chemicals reduce damage from insects, fungus, and probably birds. Also, damage and rot in shipment. Organic apples have a higher price because of the small yield per acre.

I always buy organic fruit and veggies. Even when Environmental Working Group says certain crops don’t get sprayed and are safe without organic label.

Not that much. more expensive and I’m healthiest person my age my MD has ever seen.

I only use Pasture Raised Eggs. Healthier hens and nicer eggs with really golden yolks. Use organic pasture raised grass milk too.

Of course all of these things are a little more expensive but cost far less than medical bills they apparently prevent.
