In the ‘60’s, Mad Magazine did a spoof on mail order ads in the back of magazines.

This one showed a page of ads, one of which was for a genuine German Luger pistol, firing pin has been removed for safety (of course). Then another ad on the same page advertised genuine firing pins for German Luger pistols.
