I don’t idolize Oliver Stone or the conspiracy book authors.
The JFK Revisited book and the interview dvds (my complete set is 5 hours and 58 minutes long!) have shocking testimony from the now aged people such as the women at the Book Depository and the first medical examiner and about a person who found the skull fragment that matched a forward to back gunshot wound but a later ME was brought in to make a new diagram discounting that and agreeing with the CIA version.
Several were threatened by the CIA or FBI to shut up. After seeing a brief documentary about MK-Ultra and the destruction of 90% of the evidence, I suggest anyone who trusts the CIA had better tie up their camel.
Not that the movie or the Executive Action with Burt Lancaster one or the grimly humorous X-Files one of the Cigarette Smoking Man killing him-—complete with the signal from the umbrella going up and down, are documentary history.
In 1960 I was a 14 year old fan of the candidate John F. Kennedy and went to see him at a rally in a small outdoor shopping center a couple of miles from home in Macomb County. You could get close to hear him compared to the later major rally in Detroit.
As he left he was about three feet away from me going past slowly in the convertible at the shopping center curb.
I later wondered what the real story of his assassination was, picturing my memory of him alive that day and shot down in 1963.
We may never know the real story.
Norman Mailer said he drew the wrath of people for saying Oswald did it and wasn’t a nerdy loser. His main thesis: The real killer of JFK would have bragged in a bar to buddies or
to family or friends that he was a historic changer of world history and he did it. No one ever did.

Absolutely Postively Correct!

As I mentioned previously in this thread, the story is the same as every assassination/assassination attempt: a misfit, a weapon, and an opportunity. We just don't want to believe it's that easy, despite the recent attempt on DJT's life in PA.
We insist on believing the idea that the agents guarding a president are the most exceptionally-talented people in the world; anything that can get by them can only get by them design. Even after PA demonstrated to the world that the agents guarding a president (or even a presidential candidate) are human beings as flawed and mediocre as any human beings found anywhere, we insist on maintaining this fiction.
Four US presidents were killed in office. (Where are the conspiracy theories for them?)
