It would be better for you to remain silent than to stir the pot any further. No knowledge. Really? You have posted your beliefs, and one is that you hate Catholicism, but what you believe is NOT knowledge.
Your father was in a war and he taught his belief of the Bible, again belief not knowledge.
I cannot argue facts against someones beliefs.
I believe in the One True Catholic Church and that the Pope is the Vicar of Christ, but that is only my belief, it is not knowledge and is as worthless in a fact based argument.
