I don’t get it either, although I think it has to do with the Judiciary Committee vote to get the candidate to the floor. I cannot remember why, it might be if the vote isn’t unanimous or some stupid thing like that it is considered bad in some way IIRC. If the vote is in the majority that should be enough.
