Defensive Display is the most common form of defensive uses of firearms. It should be legal in every state.

Logic and reason should be legal in every State as well, yet here we are.
This is a good thing. Let’s hope it spreads...

This should be legal in every state and always should have been. Unfortunately some leftist DA’s will prosecute people for it so every state should pass laws like this to take that power away from them. If somebody is threatening you, letting them know they’re going to get their dumb ass shot if they don’t stop - without having to actually shoot them - is a good thing and should be encouraged.

Exactly so. Good condensed summation.

Open carry is legal in all but four states:
California, Illinois, New York, Florida.
Florida is the surprise. Some Republicans in Florida consistently and adamantly oppose open carry.

Florida should take a lesson from Israel.

“As a practical matter, the display or reference to a firearm most commonly results in the aggressor stopping the aggression and leaving. These numbers are difficult to quantify, but appear to happen in about 90-95% of defensive uses of firearms. This is reasonable.”
From the article, making the point. 😁

I think the problem with Florida is that the M-4 would be considered an appropriate skeet gun, with many. The place just isn’t civilized.

The Israelis living right next to Gaza? Many of them were unarmed.

Weren’t some of their guns locked up? Some of the kibbutz rules seemed counter to the reality of the situation on the ground.

Beats me. But I remember pictures of young people (adults) and others hiding in their living quarters while those bastards roamed unhindered, executing them.
An inaccessible firearm is worse than one without ammo; at least, you can use the empty gun as a club.

Write, call your senators, urge them to support the Hearing Protection act.
No $200 tax. No lengthy waiting period. No ATF BS.
... shall not

A quick search found
this. Firearm accessibility depending on power seems like a really poor idea. First target of the attackers...transformers.

House passes Hearing Protection act.
Good news. Let us hope the Senate keeps it and adds the Short Act, for short barreled rifles and shotguns.
