While in Manchester England, Bruce Springsteen went on a bender insulting America and Donald Trump. He called Trump "incompetent" and "treasonous."

He had some choice things to say, some of which were pure nonsense:
- “Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism, and let freedom ring!”He did this in England, where you can be arrested for a social media post that “offends” someone. In England you can be arrested for praying silently in an across the street protest. He went to a more authoritarian country to complain about authoritarianism.- “In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain that they inflict on loyal American workers. They’re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society.”- “In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. They’re removing residents off American streets and, without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons. This is happening now.”- “A majority of our elected representatives have failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government. They have no concern or idea of what it means to be deeply American.”
No American has been deported by the Trump administration.
No civil rights legislation has been revoked.
No one’s free speech has been abridged. Speech remains free but not free from consequences.
I have despised Springsteen for some time. He is the classic bleeding-heart liberal. He sings songs about the poor and being oppressed but his net worth is around $700 million and doesn’t spread it around. He also takes tax advantages as a wealthy farm owner in New Jersey.
It is unseemly to go overseas and malign your country because you don’t like the party in charge. Kid Rock called him out for that:

I mean this guy’s got what $500 million - billion dollars and he’s out there playing like he’s a working class hero and really to me he just wants to be in good standing with the Hollywood Elite…”

They hate that Trump is calling out the corruption like these two were getting paid to support Kamala Harris.
