I think if it was only Afrikaners and Zulus there, things would be pretty nice there.
Despite having rich productive agricultural land and ample foreign aid to improve farming, countries like Zimbabwe and soon South Africa will be on the verge of starvation or barely managing subsistence farming. The reason is obvious corrupt socialist/ communist governments are unable or unwilling to develop these resources and give the success of the productive to the unproductive. It is too bad these nations cannot free themselves from the shackles of socialism and embrace free enterprise, but I expect nothing will change and only get worse.
There were a few wee dust-up, between the Afrikaners and the Zulus, long ago; however, by and large, these two groups DID get along well into the 20th century. And that's really good considering the fact that the Afrikaners have now been there about 400 years.
A MAJOR factor, now, is that after Mandela, the military was taken off the borders and so, a FLOOD of damned ILLEGAL ALIEN BLACKS stormed into RSA and yes, they, who NEVER lived under Apartheid, hate ALL whites and coloreds, whose families have lived there for 100s of years.
What nobody else brings up, but me, is the fact that the damned CCP Chinese now have their sticky fingers entwined, in the background. So the virulent STALINIST ANC blacks, are stupidly still hugging MARXISM, cojoined with black savagery.

The Afrikaners lack a homeland to repatriate them. British South Africans have the UK and the other white Commonwealth countries. Jewish South Africans have Israel as an escape route. The Afrikaners have been in South Africa for over 300 years and are a mixture of Dutch, German, and French immigrants. They are like Americans of colonial ancestry, too many years away from their English, Scottish, Dutch, German, and Welsh ancestors.
