It’s unfortunate how we tend to dismiss positive news and exaggerate negative news. If his brother were a full-spectrum woke leftist spouting talking points gleaned from Rachel Maddow, I can guarantee you that the sentiment around here would not be “means nothing.” There would be armchair analyses to the moon with theories of how the Prevost boys might have been raised in a dysfunctional leftism-inducing household, by an absentee or homosexual dad and/or alcoholic mom.
Look, values primarily come from how people were raised by their parents. I’ll concede that Lou Prevost’s conservatism doesn’t mean *everything*. He doesn’t speak for his brother(s). But it doesn’t mean “nothing.” It says *something* about the values with which the Prevost boys were raised.
