If he does get off on a BS technicality, it will be appropriate for him to have a fatal “accident” shortly thereafter.
Guys, settle down, he’s not getting off.
First of all, just because a defense attorney files a motion, doesn’t mean that the motion has any actual merit. Secondly, for the search to have been illegal would require lack of probable cause. I am hard pressed to believe police arresting a suspected murder lack probable cause to search their possessions at the time of arrest.
And finally, even if the judge were to uphold the search was illegal, the mans on video committing murder, with plenty of witnesses... the backpack and its contents are hardly the only evidence in this case... he’s not walking, at least not walking over this.
If he does get off, or found not guilty for any reason at all, there is a big question that remains.
Were it to be found that he was not in fact the shooter, would that make the left hate him?
