Not exactly.
In the mid 1990s, the recently united Germany passed a bill to restrict Turkish Muslim immigration.
I still remember hearing on KABC-AM that the Simon Wiesenthal Center issued an alarm that Germany was reverting to its racist Nazi past. I assume others groups joined in.
Soon thereafter, Germany rescinded its law, eager to prove to the world -- and to Jewish groups especially -- that they were no longer Nazis.
80 years ago today they shot or hanged anyone that wasn’t enthusiastically supporting Hitler and his Gotterdammerung.
And for the past 80 years, German immigration and foreign policy has been motivated by a desire to show the world -- and Jewish groups especially -- that they are no longer Nazis.
Don’t feel sorry for them.
I do feel sorry for them.
They're damned if they do, and damned if they don't.
If they ban Muslims -- They want a pureblood German nation -- They're still Nazis!
If they admit Muslims -- They're admitting Jew haters -- They're still Nazis!
Thank you very much, Angelino97, for coming to the rescue, but Mr. MCF is possibly an ideologue in this regard.
And you know as well as I do, that an ideology is a hermetic system of beliefs; thus, no part of it may ever be questioned.
With Islamism, or Marxism in all of its variants, it’s exactly the same. Regrettably so.🙁
