Democratic strategist James Carville said that the Democrat Party’s “top agenda” needs to be focused on retrieving deported El Salvadoran Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who is accused of being an MS-13 gang member.
“People say, ‘Well, should we really fight on this turf or should we fight more on ordinary people?’ This we should fight on. You can’t pivot to an economic issue. This is why we think we’re a country,” Carville said on his “Politics War Room” podcast.

Makes perfect sense for Carville’s POV. Invaders are the future voters, and brownshirts, of his political party.
Really, I don’t know anyone who cares about this and I work with nothing but democrats...

... And stupid. The American public is fully onboard with the deportation of foreign criminals. The James Carville who engineered Clinton’s election some 33 years ago would know that and suggest out Trumping Trump on the issue. Age and hate have deprived him of any political acumen he may have once possessed.

He is in a place where such questions will be properly asked - and answered. And Democrats have nobody on the inside at CECOT to disrupt the process or intercept the information. They own no judges there. They control no police agencies or guards, so they can't even have him killed to shut him up.
The Democrats' helpless public squirming is enjoyable to watch, but Bondi has to be ready to act on whatever information does emerge.

I always thought Carville was a little more pragmatic than this. He HAS to know that this is a non-starter with almost all Republicans and probably 40% of Democrats. They don’t want illegals (especially gang-bangers) in the country.
It requires people to think, use judgement. It makes their brain hurt.

In an interview on FOX, crazy Carville had shelf after shelf behind him loaded with bottles of booze. That explains it.
Always wondered if Carville wasn’t something of a nut case. Not wondering any more. I have to wonder what possible sense it makes to go to the trouble of bringing a known MS-13 guy back into the U.S.
