Yes, I’d also be interested in nopardons’ critique of a 10 year old child prodigy’s manner of speaking explained.

Did you two READ the short excerpt that headed this thread, or not? This so-called almost "college grad", who has applied to Stanford ( and perhaps even manage to get accepted ) said: "There's so many interesting things out there. It's very fun to me. It's almost as fun as playing outside or riding a bike,or whatever.", which proves that what I posted is correct! Okay, so she grew up and went to school in California; however, that is not even an almost 11 year old's vocabulary nor grammatically correct English.

And please, do NOT tell me that her supposed superior abilities make up for that; I'm NOT buying it!

She could read at the age of 2? WHAT COULD SHE READ, THE WORD "I"?

I'll grant you that there have been and ARE child prodigies; but they are usually found to be in the fields of music, art, and yes, sometimes math. Then there are IDIOT SAVANTS and...HOAXES.

And please don't attempt to tell me that the child was "nervous" being interviewed bu a reporter.
