I’d rather send the coaches to the locker rooms during the game, ban all electronic communication with players, and let quarterbacks and defensive captains call the plays on the field. End down and distance substitutions. End tv timeouts. Limited substitutions.
Heck, I’d even eliminate platooning and have most players play both ways. Even kickers, who would have to go back to being real football players.
Put your teams out on the field, keep the clock running, play the games in a little over an hour, and let the athletes do it without the coaches micromanaging everything.

It continues to aMAIZE and Blue Buckeye fans as to the attitude in Michigan that it was all above board and there was no cheating.
Now that the FBI is finished with Michigan, the Administration will have to come clean, no longer hiding behind the NCAA didn’t act and we are Rightous Act.
Because the NCAA never talked about their investigation taking a backseat to an active Federal Investigation, Michigan’s President and the Administration tried to ride out the storm. The Feds are finished with what is expected to be a Gambling Investigation, a Porn investigation, and an Hacking investigation resulting is stolen Opponent Schools networks for the purpose stealing real time sports information; secondly the hacking of students pictures that could be considered porn.
Will the Feds have any jurisdiction in the Connor Stalions inter-state travel scheme across state borders in the commission of breaking School and NCAA rules?
Will the Feds or Los Vagas Gambling Commission further prosecute over the “insider gambling” that used stolen opponent information, and the allegedly Weiss Half-Time Bet Placing on point spreads or Michigan points scored which he would have controlled?
Will the Michigan State Police or Local LE take action on any of the criminal complaints not specifically handled under the Federal Indictments? Porn, illegal computer hacking, bogus hacking credentials on opponent servers.
The NCAA will take Weiss/Program knowledge of PSU and OSU inside program computer information as Intend to Cheat. Weiss knew about some teams and if players briefed to be questionable or out whether they were actually a go the night before or even before gametime, which gives the opposing team an advantage in preparation when certain players are out or possibly playing. Having the practice film, coaching notes, and everything to do with School and Program compliance at Michigan’s fingertips the NCAA is going to hammer them for this cyber crime. It is criminal in itself (Federal) but also a violation of School Ethics/Rules and NCAA policies about fairness.
NCAA will look at 2020 until the National Championship Game and determine what games were won cheating. Conner Stalions was the only prior angle with pre-scouting, but the Weiss Computer fraud is legendary and supersecedes the Conner Angle in scope and impact.
The B1G will also determine which games were won fairly. They will have to revoke Awards for Coaches and possibly players. The NCAA may do the same.
Additionally, there is rumor that the cheating began upon Harbaugh’s arrival, and it impacted games as early as 2018 season. Could this investigation and consequences reach back that far? Is there a 7 year statute of limitations...? Not for the computer hacking/porn angle one would think.
The final outcome is that Michigan possibly loses 42 games off their win total from 2020-2024.
