Gavrilo Princip?
Freelessy; So I thought, but it appears I was mistaken.
“Gavrilo Princip was born into a Bosnian Serb peasant family and his family was known for their strong sense of national identity and their deep-seated Orthodox Christian faith. This religious background played a significant role in shaping his worldview and nationalist beliefs.”
I will see if I can delete the post.
There was an official investigation of Princip and his accomplices’ ties to a group called Unification or Death (Уједињење или смрт) aka the Black Hand (Црна рука, distinct from other similarly named Black Hand groups operating elsewhere during this period). This group subscribed to a Yugoslavian nationalist ideology promoting a revolutionary union of all South Slav ethnic groups, including Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, as well as Slavic Muslims.
