Some of the comments there were appalling.

Like the ones mocking posts that were made that talked about people and communities banding together to make the best of a bad situation in the face of lockdowns, etc, etc.

There was a small group that seemed to just thrive on fear, uncertainty and doubt.

Attempts to show people could adapt, improvise and overcome were looked at skeptically.

Some of the people who seemed to thrive on that fear still post today.

Not much changed - for them, apparently.

Yep. I had some sling insults at me because I didn’t go along with that crap. One called me a “maskless idiot,” one told me I was “selfish” if I went to a Thanksgiving dinner gathering without having had the almighty “vaccine.” One said I was like a Nazi for saying I was a “pureblood” once. There were also similar comments.
