This why, I think, Trump is focused on tariffs. The money is immediate. It doesn’t matter what is in the warehouses or the pipeline, you have to have the cash to move the product.

I agree with your assessment.

In the bigger picture, these socialist countries are using tariffs against the US to fund their socialist schemes.

If they did not have this money, they would have to change their socialist policies.
