A federal judge on Thursday ruled against CIA employees who sued the Trump Administration to keep their jobs.
Earlier this month, Judge Trenga, an appointee of George W. Bush, temporarily blocked President Trump’s move to clean house in the intelligence community—specifically targeting agents involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that have compromised national security in favor of leftist ideology.
This ruling comes after a group of anonymous intelligence officers, who had been temporarily reassigned to roles implementing controversial Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs, have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, names ODNI, the CIA, and leadership — Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—as defendants.
The plaintiffs, identified as “John Does 1-6” and “Jane Does 1-5,” claim they were unfairly targeted simply for their prior assignments to DEIA programs.
On Thursday Judge Trenga ruled that Trump can fire the CIA DEI employees.
NBC News reported:
A federal judge ruled Thursday that the Trump administration can go ahead with plans to fire dozens of officers from the CIA and other intelligence agencies who had temporary jobs working on diversity programs.
U.S. District Judge Anthony Trenga said if fairness and morals were the standard on which he had to rule, he might have delivered a different decision. But the law dictates otherwise, he said.
“They had the misfortune of being last assigned to a DEI program,” he said, calling it a “difficult situation.”
The ruling could open the way to wider firings at the CIA and across the intelligence community

To be blunt about it, the president is the one who decides what’s fair and what isn’t, as it relates to firing executive branch employees.
The Administration just has to keep pushing. Enforcing existing law could not be a greater tragedy for all Liberal/Progressive/Democrat/DEI creatures.

The misogynist is strong in you. You’re parents must be so proud!
Kash sent her some “sample” documents I bet.

LOL!
Sort of ignorant, as I call out journalistic hacks no matter who they are when they’re too lazy to post the links to the case they are discussing.
Do better.
>> The judge should have sanctioned their attorneys for filing a frivolous lawsuit.
Speaking of “their attorneys”... I wonder who is footing the bill for them? That would be nice to know.
>> The misogynist is strong in you.
With this one, I think it’s more progressive than misogynist.
"fairness and morals"
It’s taken a toll for years and has been a set back to the American intellect in terms of sense and sensibility. For years, DEI has engraved itself into the youth, and now it’s time to move past this garbage. Time to bring back morals and ethics.
Ya got your does
and ya got your bucks
Surround yourself with with the best and learn from them ignore DEI.Merit will make you a winner.
Trump is showing the chaos that runs the judiciary. He’s playing them like a violin. SCOTUS is going to have to step in and fix their mess. I wonder what they’ll do.....
