They're Leftist jerks. So Zuck is not going to need 80% of his employees.

Having said that, we need unions. Eventually, we will have to deal with a new normal where human labor is superfluous. And we're not prepared for that.

I bet he’s had a conversation with ELON and figured out that he doesn’t need about half the people who work there...........

Most low performers don’t know they’re low performers.

I don't think that's the case with Meta/Facebook. These people were high performers, but just like Twitter, they were working for the Fed spying division of Facebook and not in a revenue generating division.

They became extraneous once the Fed spying was exposed.

>> They asked to be anonymous because they were not authorized to discuss internal company matters.

That’s indicative of the kind of “screw the company” attitude that a business leader would want to cut.

LOL, I was “reorganized” from a job 30 months ago, thanks to the owners believing the BS they were told about Quick Books Online. I was handling their 4 businesses using Quickbooks Desktop, producing the financial statements as compilations, instead of the canned output.

My plan to take it easy and draw unemployment for 5 months ended after two weeks when I was hired by my current employer. Through Linked In, I learned my previous employer had to hire 3 accountants to replace me. So be it, I got a nice pay raise out of it.

I worked for a company where everyone got the top rating. Consulting group came in and said if you had a team of say 10, only one person could be an Exceeds and you needed to have at least one or two in a Below category & those were the ones that were RIF’d.
