Why only 10% on China?

I guess 10% is massive considering almost everything we have is Made In China

Possibly this:

China is a major supplier of consumer goods and electronics. A higher tariff could lead to price increases that would hurt American consumers more directly.

A 10% tariff might be intended as a warning shot, leaving room to escalate if China does not comply with U.S. demands on trade practices, intellectual property, or market access.

Many U.S. industries rely heavily on Chinese manufacturing, and a sudden 25% tariff could disrupt supply chains, leading to shortages and economic instability.
