Why only 10% on China?
I guess 10% is massive considering almost everything we have is Made In China
China is a major supplier of consumer goods and electronics. A higher tariff could lead to price increases that would hurt American consumers more directly.

I think it’s on top of the existing tariffs
Think of The volume of plastic junk they ship here. 10% is massive.
