Conor McGregor has declared his support for jailed right-wing UK activist Tommy Robinson. The shamed UFC star was asked about Robinson who is currently serving an 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court while visiting Washington DC for the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump.

A reporter said he wanted to talk to McGregor about how Ireland is “having a problem with illegal immigration, just like America (and) just like the UK”.

“One of the leading voices in the UK, a guy named Tommy Robinson, who also happens to be part Irish is locked up right now (for) bringing attention not only to immigration and to the rape of Britain but also for exposing trouble with refugees,” the reporter states.

“What do you think about Tommy's predicament right now in the UK and the fact that he's locked up for playing the documentary film?

McGregor replies in the encounter that was filmed: “For the life of me I can’t understand why we wish to hide these horrific crimes and shield them from light

Shamed?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn5w50pw65yo

“”It followed a 12-person jury in Dublin finding McGregor guilty of sexual assault in a civil case brought by Nikita Hand, who accused him of raping her at a Dublin hotel in December 2018. She was awarded nearly €250,000 (£208,000) in damages. In a social media post, McGregor said he would appeal the decision.

Ms Hand’s case was one of several legal issues and controversies that McGregor, one of Ireland’s most famous athletes, has faced over the past few years.

In 2018, he was arrested in New York for throwing a metal dolly at the window of a bus which had a group of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) staff and athletes on board. A year later, he was convicted and fined €1,000 (£850) for punching a man who rejected his offer of a drink in a Dublin pub.”

The UK deep-state and state-run propaganda machine (and its partners in the USA) sold Tommy Robinson to the average citizen as some kind of neo-nazi, fascist-party political organizer and revolutionary.

He is no such thing.

He was simply a guy who saw what South Asian Muslim immigration and its degraded culture was doing to his town - with the protection of leftist government. He spoke out against it, and when the state smashed him down, he simply didn’t kept speaking.

I think it is because an Irish lass sued him civilly for a complain of rape. Criminal charges were where? Seen this scam in America.

The last time I saw him, he was acting feisty, not contrite.

I’m not saying that he definately isn’t guilty, but what I will say is that I don’t trust it not to be a stitch up. Time and time again there have been stitch ups and kangaroo courts launching politically motivated prosecutions that I just can’t trust the verdict being a just one.

Tommy Robinson was legitimately guilty of passport fraud and entering the US illegally on some else’s passport (he would have been denied access on his own because of his prior criminal record, he served time for beating up an off duty police officer who intervened in a heated argument between himself and his then girlfriend).

This was before his activism by the way so that was definately not politically motivated.

Apparently Tommy Robinson is (was) an English Hooligan, usually you'll run into him at soccer games.

But he's the only English lad who had the guts to report on what's happening.

He doesn’t do mindless hooliganism these days (far better things to do than fight over football teams) but he has legitimately committed crimes he has been rightfully punished for.

This is not to take away from the fact he is a brave man who devotes his energy to a noble cause and that his prosecutions since he founded the EDL have not largely been vexatious and politically motivated but he is certainly no saint.
