Trying to eat healthy?
More fruits and vegetables?
Well, you might be consuming something unholy in your quest for better health.
Let me ask you a question: how do you feel about letting Bill Gates coat your fruits and vegetables with his latest creation?
You know, the skin that God naturally put on fruits and vegetables is just SO outdated (sarcasm alert) that Bill Gates thinks he needs to improve it.
Yes, really.
Take a look at some of these reports:
I am unable to independently confirm whether Costco is selling Apples with Apeel coating on them, but CNBC confirms they are selling Avocados with Apeel coating:
“tasty as wee”
Hmmmmm
If I remember Gates is one of the world’s elites that think they should find a way to depopulate the earth. I wonder if this is one of the steps to achieve that.
Cosmic does not use this.
Yewwwwwww. That’s gross!
The twitter link did verify from Cosco
Cosmic Crisp are a cross between the original Honey Crisp apple and the Enterprise apple as a result of a WSU fruit breeding program in the 90’s. Took 30 years to propagate enough trees to bring to market.
huh! Apple and Windows working together to produce the same product. whodathunk it?
I just ate an apple called Opal that’s yellow as a banana, and ,honestly, tastes a little like one
Did not.
No present connections.
No current connection and no connection to development of the product. But, but, BILL GATES!!!
Did you know BILL GATES has connections to Deere? And they handle ALL our food! And Hormel. Don't eat the bacon! He has connections to UPS and FedEx so he can monitor your parcels, and Waste Management so he can go through your trash. He is probably under our beds at night.
So, Apeel may be unhealthy, but not because of Dr Evil, Super Villain. Another reason to eat more beef and fewer apples.
Epstein has several jars full.
Apples keep depending how early or late in the season they come in.
Early season apples go bad in days.
Late season ones, particularly Ida Reds, keep much better and Ida Reds are best after being in cold storage for a few months (told to me by a friend who owned an apple orchard).
Seems like Honeycrisps have a fantastic shelf life in the fridge.
All apples need to be refrigerated though to keep best.
that bites...
***********
Don't worry about it. Things like that will
be a part of the rectum removal on discharge.
::CNBC confirms they are selling Avocados with Apeel coating:::
Avocados are peeled not eaten like an apple or a peach or other fruits...so will it hurt? Who knows?
Let’s coat Bill Gates with hot tar!!
Very informative links. Thank you.
From the second link:
“Apeel Technology was founded in 2012 by James Rogers, a Ph.D. scientist out of U.C. Santa Barbara, who began searching for a solution to the perishability of the produce he noticed growing abundantly on his drive through the central coast of California; on the way to his Berkeley lab. He was named a World Economic Forum (WEF) Young Global Leader in 2020.
To date, Apeel has received 719 million dollars in funding from multiple sources, including Anne Wojcicki (23andMe), Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey, GIC (the sovereign wealth fund of the government of Singapore), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, as well as a number of other investment firms and venture capitalists.”
Considering who’s involved with this, thanks but no thanks.
This is even more motivation to grow and preserve my own.
Because of the wax, I peel Honey Crisp apples like potatoes!
That said, left one in a dish on the table...24 hours later, it still hadn’t turned brown!
Thanks for the information.
Cortlands do not turn brown easily either.
I don’t know about overnight. They never last that long.
I give up giving a poo. There is absolutely nothing we can eat or drink any longer. Not even water.
