I don’t see any evidence of anti-gravity drives.

Well, it was magnetic, not exactly anti-gravity, but I remember Dick Tracy running around in his Space Coupe way back in the 60s. Just as believable.

“The idea of holding such breakthrough tech secret for decades, is laughable.”

The US was testing (normal) drones at Kirtland AFB in the early 1980s.

That was “breakthrough” tech that was kept secret for at least a couple of decades.

What is a “normal” drone?

The US was testing (normal) drones at Kirtland AFB in the early 1980s.

I suppose your can say, technically, those were “drones”.

We used a form of “drone” in Vietnam.

There is a quantitative difference between the drone tech which has been deveoloped in the last 20 years, and the stuff we were using before them.

The combination of integrated circuits, memory, encrypted communications and processing power have combined to make the First Drone War what it is.

I was involved, indirectly in some of the first laser weapons tests to see if they could down a helicopter, 1975 or 76 as I recall. Even then everybody knew of the possibility.

Reflexive ridicule. Your meme is from a Hollywood Movie designed to ridicule the U.S. Military and support these first three as its goals.

Current Communist Goals
EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA
IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Thursday, January 10, 1963
Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America. At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength... (snip)

Go enjoy some of the videos of the Chinese drone holiday displays. They are the benign face of a military weapond. Have your fun, ridicule the military, and enjoy your floridated water which is probably not a weapond, but is a really stupid but cost effective way to dispose of industrial by-product waste in the water systems and bodies of American citizens and does not prevent tooth decay.

The truth about fluoride in water: A public health success story with Colorado roots

Note the part about naturally occurring fluoride in Colorado water.

And with 28 years of active duty service, I don’t “ridicule the US military.”
I ridicule goofballs like you.

This seems to be getting even crazier. The Royals are Lizards Guy is now asking questions about Shawn Ryan’s safety based on a message Shawn posted on x.

Ten years ago DARPA spent millions on a project named Loki. This they described as an underwater manned vehicle
Equivalent to a jet fighter.
They worked for years on something called a vortex drive. Very little can be found out about it today.

Excellent post.

DARPA has had some incredible projects over the years.

Obviously one of their most legendary ones became the Internet.

They are excellent as security—but the Chinese are also excellent at espionage.

I find it a credible explanation of the drone swarms seen over the years—ours and Chinese.

DARPA's Internet project was a natural evolution of existing computer and communication technology.

Even the Atomic Bomb was based on physics that was fairly well understood, mainly needing experimental verification. (Somebody once said that the most important information that the Soviets got from the US about the A-bomb was that it worked.)

Anti-gravity, on the other hand, would upset the very foundations of modern physics. And who would be working on it? Are there groups of the world's best physicists working at secret government labs in Xinjiang (or Greenland). like there were at Los Alamos, Oak Ridge, Hanford etc.?

There are all kinds of claims about “alternative physics” out there.

DARPA is to the “laws of physics” like the kid on the corner dealing drugs is to the “law”.

Part of DARPA’s job is to figure out how to break those “laws” and to do the “impossible”.

They certainly are not about to be deterred by claims of what “cannot be” by academics or anyone else.

"And with 28 years of active duty service, I don’t “ridicule the US military.”"

OK, because every retired ex military man chooses a Russian sounding handle that sounds like"Apparently-a-Rat-Chick" to bring attention to yourself! Wear it with pride!

Note the part about naturally occurring fluoride in Colorado water. "Back in 1901, a young dental school graduate named Frederick McKay moved to Colorado Springs and while launching his dental practice, noticed brown stains on the teeth of children in Colorado Springs."

Same situation with water in West Texas, however, its "False cause" . Hydroxyapatite is found in the water in both places and strenghens the teeth.

I will tell you that rather than a hypothisis from 1901, don't you prefer Science done within the last 20 years?

Fluoridation May Not Prevent Cavities, Scientific Review Shows

"Water fluoridation, which first began in 1945 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and expanded nationwide over the years, has always been controversial. Those opposed to the process have argued—and a growing number of studies have suggested—that the chemical may present a number of health risks, for example interfering with the endocrine system and increasing the risk of impaired brain function; two studies in the last few months, for example, have linked fluoridation to ADHD and underactive thyroid. Others argue against water fluoridation on ethical grounds, saying the process forces people to consume a substance they may not know is there—or that they'd rather avoid."

I especially like the fact that the industrial waste product used to floridate our water also contains contaminants like lead! In your world Government will force everyone to drink it? "Das ist fur Ihere Sicherheit!" As former U.S. Military I do not think you would.

If I am going to wear Sorrels, I put the newspaper on the bottom and the Aluminum foil on top, and another layer of newspaper, then my feet in socks, but that's only if I am going outside in boots to shovel snow for several hours. (Like today!) Have a good day Apparatchik!
