A Triple-E container ship needs about 65 MW of power for propulsion and climate controlled containers.

Small modular nuclear reactors output 20-300 megawatts.

They have zero carbon emissions, and don't require a shore based power supply to cut dockside emissions.

They don't require massive cargo space eating fuel tanks, and won't spill Bunker Charlie or MDF in a collision.

Just sayin'...

Assume you meant MDO and got autocowrecked.

I’ve been saying for a while that we need to leverage the US Navy’s success with modular nuclear reactors. What you propose is a great idea.
