Trump has always been for LEGAL emigration.
??? An underrun would mean it needs more Indians! It’s in Indian deficient.
Well, then why not replace all American roofers and plumbers with more highly skilled men from India?
successful companies GROW, and need more people. That is the basic issue, there just are not currently enough highly trained specialists in certain fields to fill all the available jobs.
It may be a winning formula for a multi-national corporation, but it’s a losing message for MAGA. Talk about a tin ear.
you GET it!
The central Americans have been doing that.
BTW, I don’t disagree with you, but it’s worth pointing out that Musk’s mother is American and her family has generational roots here.
well.. Trump just won with exactly that message you say would make him lose. Trump said over and over and over at each and every speech that he is FOR bringing in immigrants legally.
My mistake. She’s from Canada.
> I have 30+ years in tech. At a very high level. I cant get a job because all the tech recruiters are Indians. So I am blocked. This is all about disempowering white American men. Very simple, really.
While I was lucky to retire early, many of my (older) former colleagues, stellar engineers with years of stellar work, awards and patents were laid off in COVID times and replaced with cheaper foreign tech workers when things picked up again. Except for one of them, they have not gotten rehired anywhere except as a consultant. One was specifically hired as a consultant at his old company to fix the mess that foreign tech workers made of his elegant, extensible code.
These tech leaders are America-destroying scum, the lot of them. I got nervous when Musk started appearing with the President and damned if I wasn’t right to be apprehensive. We voted for strong borders, zero illegal immigration, and putting more barriers up for legal immigration. I didn’t elect Musk to anything! I voted for President Donald J Trump and his promise to make America AMERICA again!
Who’s in favor of that? Certainly not me. Reread my posts. Start with this one.

I worked in tech for over 40 years.
A white man.
Could always get a job. Now retired.
Ask yourself, how good are you really? Do you need to upgrade some credentials, or are you still riding on those you acquired in your first decade?
The issue is not the recruiters. The issue is the hiring manager.
The hiring manager wants a CCIE for $80k/yr who cannot move to another company for at least 3 years.
An American CCIE wants at least $200k...in Dayton OH, and $450 in Silicon Valley.
Musk’s mother was Canadian not American.
You are such a dope. You people post links in hope they mean something, but you lack the capacity to bring the content into the conversation and hope someone else will do it for you.
How about a whack with a rolled-up newspaper instead? You and Chatsworth Osbourne Jr are on the same Luddite wavelength, no doubt.
Ben Shapiro: "You talk in the in the book about technology and how it's shifting and taking away jobs from folks and you make specific reference to truck driving and the fact that they're going to be these automated cars on the roads so would you, Tucker Carlson, be in favor of restrictions on the ability of trucking companies to use this sort of technology specifically, to, you know, sort of artificially maintain the number of jobs that are available in the trucking industry?"T(r)ucker Carlson: "Are you joking? In a second! In a second! In other words if i were president when i say to the DOT Department of Transportation: "We're not letting driverless trucks on the road period!" Why? Really simple. Driving for a living is the single most-common job for high school-educated men in this country in all 50 states. By the way that's the same group whose wages have gone down by 11% over the past 30 years. The social cost of eliminating their jobs in a 10-year span, 5-year span, 30-year span, is so high, that it's not sustainable. So the greater good is protecting your citizens from ... Look, capitalism is the best economic system I can think of I think that anyone's ever thought of but that doesn't mean that it's a religion and ... there's no Nicene creed of capitalism that i have to buy into. What I care about is living in a country where you know decent people can live happy lives."
Yes.
If the DOGE folks manage to assist in reducing the size, scope and massive expense of government, I shall be quite pleased. Billionaires without "dirt under their fingernails" and not beholden to the boss for their wages are not enemies of those like me in the moment -- with dirt under my fingernails from transplanting some roses.
He’s a globalist
