Our institutions have reached the point where only stupid people believe anything they say.
Yep. In our personal lives, when someone lies to us outright with a straight face, we tend to distrust every single thing that comes out of their mouth after that.
Once lost, it is a heavy lift to regain trust unless the person is a complete dumb ass.
Personally, I don’t trust a single word uttered by our government or the media.
