Do you know what the most popular types of guns were by sales quantity? Not as easy to answer as it might appear. Handguns are more popular than rifles and shotguns. As I recall, 9mm handguns are the most popular type, but numbers on individual models are not available from the ATF.

Thanks. I thought it might possibly be the AR15, but I can see how the 9mm pistol would be popular. The 9mm SD ammo has gotten much better recently.
