I think there are 20 or so, Republican incumbents up for reelection in ‘26. Did Gaetz root out the ones that are against MAGA, who won’t publicly support Pres Trump but will soon be groveling for an endorsement next year?
Could have been the ultimate probe to determine who they all are.
Also, you put someone like Gaetz out there, knowing he has no chance. Then you offer up one that will get confirmed, same mind set, who can then bring a person like Gaetz, in a position that doesn’t need confirmation and is charged with going after EVERYONE.
