McConnell is most likely gone in 2026 anyway, and Trump will be a lame-duck president focusing mostly on foreign policy after 2026, but there will be other presidents after 2028 - Vance or DeSantis deserve a Congressional GOP with no RINOs.

I think McConnell has three years left in his term. He may run again and I suppose if he did, Kentucky would send him back for an additional six years. Even though he may be in a wheelchair and on oxygen by then. I can see him being wheeled in to vote to protect the Establishment, Deep State, and favored lobbyists when he is a nonagenarian (if the Grim Reaper doesn’t take him before then).
