These idiots think they are harming Gaetz by fast tracking false charges against him.
They are only projecting like they did to Trump. The very things they accuse Gaetz and Trump of doing are the very things they themselves did.
The people that attack Matt are the swamp monsters who normally hide themselves in the depths, coming out to slay their prey. We need to have our cameras ready. They are the people who will vote no whenever the security apparatus wants them to vote no. The security apparatus has several people in their pocket. They blackmail, they promote and they do not want Matt Gaetz in their underwear drawer. He can see too much. Remember if they attack him. They believe its best that the DOJ keep its secrets from the American people. We are not free if we don’t get in there and clean house.

The corruption runs very deep and as standard practice if they don’t have anything on you they make it up. This comes from both sides of the aisle.

I never really thought about it much, I saw the calls to release the records but I was busy with other stuff, in retrospect though it was pretty obvious that this would happen.
from what I understand this was a blackmail scheme and the da did not prosecute cause there was no actual proof.
However In my opinion the girl, the friend, and the Mark are all sleazy and people I would not hang with.
possibly trump can put him in for a few months, long enough to get rid of some other evil people, and when he is not confirmed in the end, at least there might have been some good ?

I was talking about the Gaetz nomination to my son. He had an excellent observation. If Gaetz is not confirmed as AG, Trump should push De Santis to appoint him as senator to replace Rubio. Perhaps that’s already the backup plan. Or perhaps it’s even to give the senate leadership a choice: Gaetz as AG, or Gaetz as senator. But you’re getting Gaetz either way. It would require De Santis’ cooperation, of course, but the whole scenario could be a planned loyalty test. For both Thune and De Santis.
Since the rinos and ‘ethics’ committee don’t like him, jam him down their throats and curb stomp them. Recess appointment and investigate every single one of the ‘no’s as they have self-identified as dirty, in this case; if they could be just fine voting for Meritless Garland or the “I-don’t-know-what-a-woman-is” SC judge they have no room to be complaining about whomever President Trump wants to put in the slot.

I think it was carefully investigated by DOJ, and they concluded there was nothing to it. And with the current DOJ, if there was anything there, they’d have jumped on it.
A senate appointment by a governor is about as important as anything he get to do. I don’t think DeSantis is going to use his once in a lifetime plum to distribute on someone else’s Cabinet problem.
Mc Carthy’s supposedly up for Energy. Is anyone else eagerly anticipating seeing those two in the same Cabinet meeting?
