Matt Gaetz resigned from Congress on Wednesday evening after President Trump announced his nomination for US Attorney General.

Maybe, but place your bets on who is going to win. There is much real commitment here by Trump.

As an aside, Trump and his advisers have vetted Gaetz carefully so they are comfortable he'll pass muster on the issue of that report.

Trump knows what he's doing this time around. He's got a mandate and daily increasing momentum and he'll have plans to use such power if GOP senators get frisky.
