Nonviolent protests would be OK. What happened during Trump’s first inauguration was not protest. It was violence. I expect it to be even worse this time. The mayor of DC will not help the situation. After all, who should help Hitler? /s The left excuses the evil that they do and the evil that they allow by such delusional thinking.

George Washington U protests...

That reminds me, George Washington U was the school attended by Andrew Bakaj, a CIA “whistleblower” lawyer of Compass Rose along with Mark Zaid (who was involved with the weird Haditha marines case, among other events.)
Andrew Bakaj has an interesting connection I never noticed ... to Ukraine way back in 2002.

“According to his Linkedin profile, Bakaj was an intern at the U.S. State Department from June 2002 to August 2002 at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine. He, “Created the Embassy’s fraud database, performed various counter-fraud duties, interviewed visa candidates, translated official Ukrainian/Russian documents into English, and represented official U.S. interests at various events throughout Ukraine.”

I knew he had the more recent Ukraine connection but missed his 2002 connection.

Andrew P. Bakaj, the Whistleblower’s Lawyer: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Andrew P. Bakaj is the lawyer representing the whistleblower who came forward with information about President Donald Trump and his conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about an investigation into 2020 democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

The whistleblower’s intel, which has now been turned over to Congress confidentially, pushed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to announce a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump on September 24, 2019.

GWU alumni Andrew Bakaj’s law partner Mark Zaid was one of the attorneys representing some of the 51 signatories of the 2020 Intel letter used to downplay the Hunter Biden laptop.

I think it will be critical for Trump (and Vance) to use the Bully Pulpit during the first 100 days to communicated to the voters and public that elected him.

His message should be positive and he should state that he has been elected by the people to improve and change the situation in the USA and that he intends to do that for the benefit of all our citizens. He can tell protesters that they have a constitutional right to freedom of speech and to peaceful assembly. That he supports both, but that the vast majority of those polled said that the USA government was on the wrong track. He was elected to change that track.

He should find ways to get that message out to the public nearly every day of his first 100 days.

There is a difference between rallies and going out and holding events where the media will cover him. I would like to see addresses of Congress, special media invitations for press briefings, etc. Rallies are fine, but he needs to figure out how to get the message out to both the people who voted for him........and to those that are only spoon fed limited talking points from CNN, MSNBC, etc.
