At one point, Democrats had to win 8 out of 9 toss-ups. I think that would be .5 raised to the 8th power or .00390625 or less than .4%. That’s with a fair coin.
If Republicans lose the House, the coin was not fair.
If they lose the house it would be certainly an anomaly based on historic patterns.
I should probably dive into the 4 elections where the exception case happened and see if there is there was a pattern to them.
I know the rejection of Dems this cycle is nearly complete, it looks at present that GOP is up in 8 of the remaining house seats, and if that holds they will wind up gaining a few seats in the house, like the historical odd making would indicate.
What we as MAGA/Conservatives/Patriots need to realize is that the democrats while humiliated are not going to go away.
Looking at the 2026 Senate map, as long as Trump delivers the GOP should hold the senate, there are not GOP senators in blue states up for re-election. IF Trump does well over the next 2 years, the GOP could actually gain seats and send Ossoff packing down in GA.
The house however, is always up for grabs, traditionally the party in power loses seats in the mid terms, and a 4 seat majority is a very very slim majority. So GOP needs to absolutely make the most of these next 2 years, and we need to make sure we get the MAGA base as motivated as they were tuesday night to show up in the mid terms. This will be a lift, as when Trump is NOT on the ballot, those disaffected voters that show up when he is, tend not to when he is not.
