DC should be a museum. Move the Legislatures back to their districts. Let them participate the way we do, virtually. They can come together on certain occasions to vote, and do ceremonial duties. They DO NOT NEED to be full time workers, they DO NOT NEED to be near lobbyists full time. They need to be tied to the local.

Move Senators back to being tied to State legislators, instead of directly elected Senators. We then can move towards a better government.

Agree. Have been saying that for years and comparing the way that the Texas Legislature operates. They meed every other year unless the Governor calls a special Session.

I have a better solution. Force them to tele commute and live in their district under our thumb.

That would stop the sell out crap.

The constitution states that the Congress shall meet at least once per year and specifies the time to begin. No legislation would

have to be passed to achieve this. The time they are to meet is not specified.

Downsize DC, enforce 10th Amendment, and tell the beaurocraps to go to H—L. Eliminate 75% of Washington and we would never miss

them. And consider the cost savings.
