Here in NH, we’re Constitutional Carry as well, and my understanding is that the permit’s only real advantage is for reciprocity.

That's what I was thinking. Also, if I started carrying and had to defend myself in a restaurant that serves wine, I could in big trouble.

Reciprocity only works if you have a permit from your state. States that don’t require a permit should be okay, too.
