I don’t think this is a valid comparison. As pollsters have said recently, they have adjusted for the anti-Trump bias their polls had in 2020, and the polls today are unlikely to undercount Trump voters. So today’s polls are more likely to be reflective of the final outcome.
I still think that pro-Trump votes are going to be under-polled (or at least under-recognized) because there are a lot like me who, if called by a pollster, are going to tell them to FO ... and I will crawl over broken glass to cast my vote for Trump.
Comparing how Harris is currently polling to how Biden ran in 2020 is not a valid comparison?
Yeah, I don’t know what they’re worried about, Biden was a superstar; He got the most votes of anyone in recorded history. How can they expect Kamel to match that?
Now that Election Day is approaching you will see all these polls shifting to what the real numbers will be.
That is not because any voters are changing their mind, or undecided voters have now decided.
It is because up till now the purpose of these polls was to shape opinion and perceptions, not report actual sentiments. Now, they need to protect their reputations so that they can stay in business for the next election cycle.
That just means that the response rate for Trump voters is low, not that they are actually under counted. Posters claim that they have found ways to adjust for the low response rates without under counting trump’s voters.
Not if the polling methodology has changed to adjust for systematic biases, like the pollsters are saying.

Could be true. However, Harris is doing badly with black and Hispanic voters compared to Biden. I’m questioning whether Harris’s poll numbers in the rust belt truly reflect her performance with minorities.
If she is way below Biden with blacks & Hispanics, what numbers are pollsters using to project turnout for Harris in rust belt states? I’m not talking Trump’s numbers, but actually turnout for Harris given he weak numbers she as far as black support.
I’m guessing this is an area concern with Dem strategists, not just concern with Trump’s numbers, but concern that Harris won’t generate the high turnout she needs in Philly, Detroit and Milwaukee.

Yesterday while listening to the Wilkow Majority on Sirius, he reported that the DNC is going to start running ads in Michigan attacking 3rd party candidate Jill Stein. So they must have internal polls showing Stein getting enough support to affect kamalas vote.
I saw those billboards on interstates driving thru NC. Too small font and too much verbiage to read while driving past at 75-80.

It makes no sense for Trump voters to not talk to pollsters.
Democrats have always wanted high poll numbers for their candidates to depress Republican voters. The higher Trump polls, the better the chances it will depress some Democrat voters.
MSM is sounding the alarm. All Democrats on deck. Happens every election.

Check other battleground states and the nationwide polls. Morning Consult always stands out. It’s a garbage poll.
Ditto Marist College.
Siena College is in the mix of the mainstream media polls that, supposedly, have fixed their bias, along with the Fox Poll and the Wall Street Journal Poll. Four years ago, the mainstream media polls were 3 or 4 points biased. Good for them that they say they’ve fixed their bias.
Problem for Kamala is that, when you kick out the crazy polls, she’s behind in the battleground states. It’s close, but she’s behind.
We also have leaks that the inside polls of the campaigns show Kamala behind.
Plus, the nervousness of the Democrats is on display. Kamala wants another debate and maybe will consider a neutral host like Fox. This is because she’s behind.
Her running mate says we need to get rid of the electoral college. This means Kamala and he are behind in the crucial “blue wall” states, but still have a shot at winning the nationwide popular vote.
Democrats up and down the ballot are reverting to foul language and threats of violence. Again, this means they sense or actually know they’re behind.
