Not my company - it was a real estate company my friend worked for.

Obamacare and Nancy Pelosi's comment:
"We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it. [March, 2010]"

Same here. $1100 a month with high copays and deductibles for what is essentially catastrophic. My dad used to sell BCBS (now Excellus). Catastrophic was called “Blue Million” for around $46 a month.

“Obamacare has failed in every particular – it failed to make health care more affordable; it failed to improve the health of Americans; it piled on an enormous amount of additional debt on taxpayers; it has principally enriched massive insurance company conglomerates, and it now serves as a major impediment to real heath care reforms that would empower patients and doctors,”

I worked for a small company.
Before obamacare: Monthly premium was $300.
After obamacare: Monthly premium was $3,000.

Dropped my health insurance and we pay cash for all medical now. A lot cheaper and I can pick my doctor or specialists.

On expensive items, I work out payment plans with the doctors.

Since they are small businesses, they would rather have a monthly payment coming in instead of being stiffed by an insurance company.
