That syllogism is all-too evocative of Dem's defunding of police, cities and states refusing to keep certain crime statistics, convenient misplacing of evidence, Soros DAs prosecuting only a very low percentage of the accused, despite solid evidence, cashless bail and judges' inexplicable dismissal of charges against illegal aliens and others, for example.

"Journos" see that happening to very-likely-guilty perps and expect they should get similar if not better treatment.
