And another thing. We all figured the charge for “possessing weapon of mass destruction” must have referred to the machine gun, as nothing else was ever mentioned.

I noticed this in this fox article, never seen it anywhere else:


“He was later convicted of possession of a weapon of mass death and destruction, making him unable to lawfully own guns. The weapon was a homemade bomb with a 10-inch detonation cord and blasting cap, according to authorities.”

No mention of when, where, why, nothing. Curious. Maybe he had a stump in his yard and was going to use the Redneck Method. Or maybe he was up to something evil. Or maybe Fox made an error. Odd, at any rate.
