He wrote a book and professed his love for Iran.

His book is another reason I think the NYT story is dubious. I haven't read the book, but in the summaries I've seen, Routh demonstrates endless love for Ukraine, but little affection for Iran, which again, fits the profile.

Just think about it for a second: an ally of Ukraine, which I believe he was, would not be working for Iran. It makes no sense.

Maybe the guy’s a hard core Nazi.. Lots of those in Ukraine, and maybe that would explain his support for Iran’s nuclear aspirations.. (?)
