What was the distance involved?
The USSS are currently issued the Glock G19 Gen 5 MOS (Modular Optical Sight) ready pistol chambered in 9mm Lugar +P.
Most pistols are for 0 to 25 yard engagements, the 9mm can provide enough energy out to 50 yards to make them suitable for protection. You go between 50 and 75 yards and the ballistics make it a lot trickier.
The SS agent was also shooting into a treeline at a target that was now on the move.
