I’m a sucker for a “conspiracy theory”. Tell me the truth (conspiracy theory), Ronald is spiking my burger with addictive additives and you’ll get my attention.
Here’s a challenge for you that will make your eyeballs fall out and roll around on the floor. Go to ANY McDonalds in America tomorrow morning. You will find five to ten retired oldsters and their stints, drinking coffee, chewing the sausage, hot cakes and the fat. Go five days in a row. Every day, same old bull$hiters. Maybe they have an extra hot cake in remembrance as they drop off one by one with heart attacks.
I never got into that crowd.
I ain’t eating sushi, never.
If you bread and deep fry well made sushi you’ll never go back to McDonalds french fries.
You ever watch, “the why files” on YouTube? You might like it. Host covers all sorts of topics for science, UFOs, ancient civilization, modern day mystery, really all sorts of topics. He starts with weaving a narrative of what happened as if it was truth and then towards the end gives reason for which parts of the story are too far fetched, which parts may not line up with a historical record, and which parts he cannot find a reason to disagree. He has a great presentation (and he has a sidekick that might take a little time to get use to). If you are interested and looking for a place to start try, “Killer Patents & Secret Science Vol. 1 | Free Energy & Anti-Gravity Cover-Ups”. The vid profiles a lot of interesting items where the us gov stepped in and took someone’s patent and then classified it and confiscated all of the research - a lot of which if things went to market would make life easier for us, not necessarily the traditional energy producers. A lot of info on Tesla’s work as well.
I love sushi ; it is true , but that has nothing to do with why I don’t do McD or other corporate fast food joints , and many people say Japanese McD is better / more healthful than McD in other countries inc. the USA . I wouldn’t know . My Japanese wife doesn’t eat raw fish by the way . We’ve found a nice sushi / casual restaurant independently owned by family ( father , two sons + their wives . The sushi is first rate and very reasonably priced , and my wife gets to choose from a wide variety of dishes /sets . I have a glass of Japanese shochu ( vodka-like ) mixed with pure hot water and wifey has green tea . Costs $ 20 for the both of us and there is no tipping in Japan . Not a bad deal and the money goes directly to the people not a corporation that serves unhealthful food that apparently addictive . Can it be just the taste that is addictive ? I know what goes into my sushi meal , and it is made by a dedicated chef or his son . This is how I prefer to eat .

Then they order a high fat lunch to go or come back for lunch.
The SIL/RN of my wife asked my wife to help. What helped was a couple of same aged guys chowing down at the fast food had cardiac events and died in their late 30’s.
Her younger brother got his former winning high school basketball team to eat wisely and re start 2 quarter basketball games with younger teams and beating most of them.
Her brother and his friends now play pickle ball and slow pitch softball.
They limited their fast foods to one meal per month. All are still alive. 3 including my wife’s brother have outlived their original wives.
