“Several countries have reached out to ask Ansarullah (the Houthis), requesting a temporary truce for the entry of tugboats and rescue ships into the incident area,” Iran’s U.N. mission in New York said.
A truce with the Houthis? So we are at war with them. Time to serve a heaping helping of mushroom soup
It gives the Houthis time to re-arm and gather supplies.
Look, I know it's difficult for the hardcore knuckle-draggers among us to face up to the feelings of impotence they experience vicariously as they witness the slow disintegration of the GAE that we are now seeing. You find it humiliating, I know. But you just need to accept that, no, we're not going to be nuking the Houthis (nor anybody else, as far as that goes).
Time to grow up. By which I mean, if you really are concerned about the present state of affairs, maybe give some serious thought about why these things have come to pass and what might be done realistically to redress the situation. Visions of mushroom clouds dancing in one's head isn't helping anything. Just sayin'.
The Blowfish could not be reached for comment. (never gets old for me).
“A truce with the Houthis? So we are at war with them.”
The Houthis are at war with everyone within missile range.
They even hit a ship headed for Iran, and Iran is undoubtedly their weapons supplier.
Given the size of the explosions the Houthis caused when they got on board, planted explosives, and then set them off, I’m marveling that the major oil spill is not already in progress.
I wonder whose coastline is at most risk? If it’s the Houthis’, I’d be inclined to just let it happen.
