This approach will not swing votes, I think the uneasy leaning-Democrat voters would be attracted only by economic or security issues. Getting high fives from already convinced Trump voters is good for early morale but otherwise meaningless white noise. Just saying we’re going to need more substantive issues than what Walz did thirty years ago.

Life is way more complicated than that.
Imho Walz was a pervert then and is a pervert now.
Understanding his past sheds light on his present.
It may be important to some voters—it may not.
It may cause the Democrats to dump him or it may not.
