I truly want what is best for you. You guys have said some pretty bad things about me but I don’t think anything bad about you.
I want you to think of 3 things...
1.) You acknowledge that possibly 39 of 40 the beheaded baby stories are lies....yet you think that the one you provided is real? What are the chances of that?
2.) Read back through that story that you quoted. Does it make sense? The woman who was protecting her baby was shot in the back and then the soldier saw that the baby was beheaded. Does that make sense to you? Was she protecting her already beheaded baby? Or was she shot and then the baby beheaded and placed back under her protection?
3.) Finally...and this is the the most important. Please watch the video below at the Twitter link. The story may or may not be the same one as in your link. It is also from Be’eri and it shows man making very emotional, very disturbing claims similar to the ones in your article. Then is shows the leaders of Be’eri denying his claims are real. Then it shows him being interviewed about the incident, getting tripped up in his story and caught lying.

With those 3 points, isn’t it prudent to think...”Maybe there could be Israelis who would lie about the things that happened that day to whip up anger and provide them cover as they moved on Gaza.” ?
If that is possible, could it also be possible that there are other events in history that have been embellished, exaggerated and sensationalized to provide cover for the entire establishment of Israel?
I don’t know who you are but if you are an American Christian, know that I used to feel about Israel, exactly what you believe. My eyes have been opened.
If you are a Jew and are reacting this way in protection of Israel, you need to come to the realization that what they are doing is wrong. It only makes you wrong if you support them. If you don’t, then you are just another American dude on the right side of history.
Thank you for your courtesy.
Believe as you will and I will do the same. The 40 babies has no bearing on the one baby story. I believe the story I posted 100%. At 72 I do not need someone to tell me how to suck eggs or how to evaluate a news article. We have no idea if that mother gathered her child to her and tried to shelter them after the terrorist had partially slashed the child’s neck. At that point she was set alight and her body weight may have finished the job. I find your arguments unpersuasive. Further I am not interested in watching what may very well be propaganda.
Frankly I find it revolting that with all that was done to those men, women & children there exist people who think there is some merit in trying to minimize the situation by arguing that some tiny aspect might not be accurate.
I stand with Israel against Hamas and all others of that ilk. A person can construct plausible rationals for disbelieving anything or believing anything. Based on years of reading, listening and analysis I stand with Israel.
There are bad people in every culture, religion, nation etc. That does not negate all the good that Israel has done and the strength and character of her people. The occasional fault does not negate the love of learning, of good works, the tradition of hard work, of family and of philanthropy.
There is no excuse or justification for Oct 7th, for the terror acts that proceeded Oct 7th and for the cynical disregard for the people of Gaza over decades by Hamas. Despite the terrorism, murders, kidnapping the Israeli nation has and is providing food, water, fuel, medical aid & medicines to Gaza.
Israel ceded land and left the strip almost 20 years ago so the people of Gaza could form a Nation and live in peace with Israel. They did not. All the aid received was appropriated by Hamas and used to build a terror empire. I think Israel was too good, appeasement of such bullies never works. Bullies read that gentleness & compassion as weakness. Oct 7th was the result of the giving posture of Israel.
