The machines can still be hacked—even with a paper trail.
The reason is that the paper trail is irrelevant unless there is a post vote audit.
If she won by a wide margin (which she did) nobody is going to audit the paper.
Just because at one stage votes were tallied by comparison doesn’t mean the final machine report is accurate.
