Why do these guys who actually served feel the need to embellish his record. Al Gore never pretended to do much other than produce the “Stars and Stripes” newspaper during his service. But he served when a lot of guys avoided.

Kerry has to make a big deal about his “Three Purple Hearts” and rightly gets lambasted for his behaviour because he acted dishonorably.

If Walz just described what he was called to do, what he did, and his actual final rank, most of us would say “more than I did, ok”. But no, he has to embellish (i.e. LIE).

King came to the event with Mary Salata, 67, from Canton. Both King and Salata, both teachers, shared that their experience in education makes Walz even more exciting.

I know a guy that guarded the gate at a US Base and this was about 2001-2003. Never heard him say anything other than he enlisted and was a gate guard.
